Pennsylvania

If you’re in Pennsylvania, you can access some of the lowest cost, highest quality insurance policies through Medicare Professionals. While we offer Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Supplements, we also offer life insurance – including final expense.

Medicare

Medicare is a tax-funded health insurance program made up of four Parts. Here are the types of coverage offered and the Medicare Part responsible for that coverage:

  • Inpatient care – Part A
  • Outpatient services and medical devices – Part B
  • Prescription drug coverage – Part D
  • Combination of inpatient and outpatient – Part C (Medicare Advantage)

Even with health insurance, you can still get Medicare and enjoy its benefits.

Medicare Supplements

If you have Original Medicare (Part A and Part B), you can get a Medicare Supplement plan, which is also called Medigap. Medigap helps lower your out-of-pocket expenses further by handling costs after Medicare covers its share of your medical expenses.

Medigap helps cover copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance costs to keep you from being responsible for all the costs that Medicare doesn’t cover.

Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage plans come in all shapes and sizes, but they all follow the same principle – combine multiple forms of coverage and offer benefits Original Medicare doesn’t, such as dental, vision, and hearing.

This is a private health insurance policy, so you’ll see Medicare Advantage come in the following variations:

  • Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)
  • Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)
  • HMO Point of Service (HMO-POS)
  • Private Fee for Service (PFFS)

Medicare Advantage plans are all unique, so it is best to assess your options and choose the one with the benefits that are ideal for you.

Life Insurance

When you have life insurance, you pay a premium for your loved ones to receive a large payment (death benefit) after you pass away. This large disbursement of funds could help cover your mortgage, pay college tuition, and eliminate debt.

Coverage can be temporary or permanent. Term life provides life insurance coverage for a number of years, and you’ll either have to renew or let it expire.

Whole life never expires. A portion of your premiums is allocated to a special savings account you can withdraw from in emergencies. Some policies feature investment components that will generate a passive income.

Final Expense

Final expense offers coverage up to $50,000. Its death benefit may not be as high as other policies, but it provides substantial relief – especially regarding funeral costs. In fact, most purchase this policy to cover funeral costs, which can be up to $12,000.

This policy doesn’t involve any medical exams, and you can obtain it in a matter of minutes with just one phone call.
